Supporting Families since 2018

BBMS Happy Children Memorial Scholarship Fund, founded on October 6, 2018, this would have been Brianna’s 38th birthday. We will help with toys, clothes, hygiene goods, and food.  The only condition is a commitment to living a life void of domestic violence. For those struggling with addiction, it is a commitment to sobriety…

Brianna Brandy Millard Smith,  our oldest daughter, died alone in the desert on March 30, 2014. As she walked alone along Highway 138 near Llano, CA. A semi-truck veered onto the shoulder of the road, striking Brianna and killing her instantly. The driver didn’t even know what he hit until he went back and found her body.

We don’t want this to be your story! The tragic ending of another family who will suffer the painful loss of a loved one to addiction or domestic violence. As a family, we often wonder what could we have done differently? That question will live with us for the rest of our lives. Brianna believed in helping others.  She would bring people home and give them a place to stay. Sharing what she had with others. As a teenager, she brought home a friend who became part of our family. Brianna was always helping others, even if it meant leaving herself with nothing.

Leaving a domestic violence situation is the first step

Not drinking or using are the first steps toward mending a damaged relationship, whether with a family member, partner, employer, or, more importantly, a child. Daniel’s mom was denied that chance.

We offer support to families in recovery from addiction and survivors of domestic violence. With your help, we provide toys, clothes, hygiene goods, and food.  The only condition is a commitment to living a life void of domestic violence. For those struggling with addiction, it is a commitment to sobriety…

If you are unable to attend or would like to help now. We accept Paypal, Venmo or Zelle.

*During the holidays, we provide toys, clothes, diapers, groceries, and holiday meals to recovering families and survivors of domestic violence. In 2024, we helped 47 individuals and children. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for your support.

If you need help, fill out the form below, and someone from BBMS will contact you. Or, if you would like to volunteer, call 661-904-59556 or fill out the form below.
